Pattern, 66 × 66 cells, made on Chromattice.
Honeycomb: cells of plain weave beside warp floats, outlined by a thick weft. Off the loom the outline pulls into curves round each cell. Monk's belt threading: A 1-2-1-2-1-2, B 3-4-3-4-3-4, five times and a little A. Rising: 1-3 and 2-4 (tabbies, for the outline), 1-3-4 and 2-3-4 (A plain, B floats), 1-2-3 and 1-2-4 (B plain, A floats). Two thick indigo picks on the tabbies, six thin walnut picks in A's cell, two outline, six in B. Sett: plain weave for the cells. 5/2 cotton at 16 ends an inch, within Schacht's 15-18 for tabby, the outline in 3/2 as Marcy's was. Beaten to about 18 picks an inch. The draft shows square cells; the curves come when the cloth relaxes. Tip: where the warp floats on the front, the weft floats on the back. Checked against Marcy Petrini's honeycomb post (threading, two outline shots on 1-3 and 2-4, six cell shots): https://www.marcypetrini.com/index.php/marcy-s-blog-posts/294-blog-077-honeycomb and https://schachtspindle.com/pages/sett-chart
